Installation & Commissioning Engineer (Electrical)

Job descriptionWork closely with site teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution. Coordinate with mechanical and civil teams for integrated commissioning . Troubleshoot electrical faults, panel issues, and automation problems during commissioning. Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs . Maintain electrical safety and statutory compliance as per industry norms. Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and commissioning reports. Conduct pre-commissioning checks, insulation resistance testing, and loop checking . Ensure proper calibration of electrical & instrumentation equipment . Conduct final commissioning, performance testing, and handover to the client. Act as a technical point of contact for clients during installation and commissioning. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for electrical equipment dispatch and installation. Provide training and guidance to client operators on electrical system operation. Role & responsibilities
Job Responsibilities :
1. Installation & Commissioning :
- Execute installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems in ETP / STP / UF / DM / RO / DI / WTP Plants .
- Install and configure control panels, MCC, PCC, VFD, motors, pumps, sensors, and instrumentation .
- Ensure proper cable routing, terminations, and earthing connections as per standards.
