Job descriptionDiploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering. 6+ years of experience in elevator / escalator installation or related field preferred. Familiarity with elevator installation standards and codes (IS, EN, etc.). Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Physically fit and willing to work at heights or in challenging site environments. Good communication and team coordination skills. Valid driving license preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
- Execute installation of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways at customer sites.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality installations.
- Supervise and lead on-site technicians or contractors as required.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and technical standards.
- Ensure proper handling and usage of installation tools and equipment.
- Maintain documentation related to installation progress, issues, and quality checks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related technical problems.
- Liaise with the commissioning and service teams post-installation for handover.
- Adhere to company and statutory safety norms at all times.
