Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Appium / Playwright Testing

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications using Playwright and Appium.
• Ensure end-to-end test coverage for functional, system, regression, and integration testing.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports, ensuring traceability to requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
• Conduct database validations using SQL / NoSQL and execute Linux / Unix commands for backend verification.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to define test strategy and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous testing improvements.
• Identify gaps in automation coverage and proactively enhance test frameworks.
• Ensure test results are reported clearly and accurately to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and share automation best practices.
