Role : QA Engineer :

Were looking for a hands-on Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in UI and API testing, and proven experience with Cypress. The ideal candidate will also bring experience in manual testing, automation frameworks, database testing, and API validation.

In this role, you will :

  • Test both UIs and APIs to ensure seamless user experiences and reliable data flows.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain automation test frameworks (Cypress required).
  • Perform manual, functional, and non-functional testing as needed.
  • Conduct database testing (validation, integrity, DB queries) to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data teams to identify bugs early and ensure product quality.
  • Document test plans, test cases, and results clearly for reproducibility.

Must-Have Skills & Experience :

  • Strong experience with UI and API testing.
  • Cypress automation testing mandatory.
  • Manual testing experience with solid QA fundamentals.
  • API testing (Postman, Swagger, or similar tools).
  • Database testing (SQL queries, data validation).
  • Strong understanding of functional testing (unit, integration, system, validation, smoke, sanity).
  • Familiarity with non-functional testing practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Experience with programming / scripting languages (JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, etc.).
  • Exposure to CI / CD pipelines and test automation in build processes.
  • Experience working in SaaS or data-heavy product environments.
