Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support OpenText Exstream templates and applications, including complex page designs, data mapping, and multi-channel output (print, email, etc.).
- Lead development efforts on customer communication management solutions using Exstream modules such as Communication Server, Content Author, Design Manager, Empower, and Live Editor.
- Analyze and debug issues, handle error resolution, and ensure high-quality deliverables in production environments.
- Work with various data formats including XML, JSON, columnar, delimited files, and reports for dynamic document generation.
- Participate in migration, upgrade, and enhancement projects from legacy CCM systems to newer Exstream versions or cloud-native platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and QA, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers, review code, and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices and coding standards.
- Support automation and scripting efforts using languages like Perl or Python to streamline development and troubleshooting.
- Utilize Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Scrum / Kanban for project management and delivery.
- Engage with clients or stakeholders to clarify requirements, provide status updates, and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
Qualifications :
Minimum 7+ years of experience with OpenText Exstream software development, preferably with versions 16.x, 21.x, or newer.Strong experience in designing and developing complex Exstream applications including data-driven templates, formula variables, functions, and multi-pass processing.Solid understanding of electronic document composition technologies such as PDF, AFP, and Postscript print streams.Experience with Exstream components like Data Files, Output Drivers, Page Templates, Communication Server, and Content Author.Familiarity with Linux-based infrastructure, Oracle databases, and CI / CD tools like Git and Bitbucket.Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle production support and incident management.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.Experience working in Agile environments and understanding of web services integration is a plus.Desirable :
Experience in migration and upgrade projects from legacy CCM platforms.Knowledge of multi-channel delivery and print center requirements such as bundling, barcoding, and inserters.Leadership experience or technical lead exposure is advantageousAbout Us :
