With a growing presence across EMEA, APAC, and the US , we are building a world-class outbound sales team in Chennai to scale Freshworks' international growth.

Role Overview

We're looking for smart, motivated Outbound Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to join our Chennai office. In this role, you'll focus on outbound prospecting—identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers for Freshworks products across global markets.

You'll use tools like Apollo and Instantly to run targeted outbound campaigns, personalize outreach, and generate qualified meetings for the Freshworks sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate qualified meetings for Freshworks products
  • Research target accounts and tailor messaging based on industry, persona, and business pain points
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and Account Executives to build and nurture pipeline across key industries such as BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, and Manufacturing
  • Use tools like Apollo , Instantly , and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to manage and optimize outreach
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and regularly report on outreach and conversion performance
  • Stay updated on Freshworks product offerings, customer use cases, and market trends

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in outbound sales or B2B SaaS prospecting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and personalization skills with a structured outbound approach
  • Hands-on experience with Apollo and Instantly is required
  • Familiarity with CRM systems Zoho CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus
  • Highly motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to work full-time from our Chennai office
