About the Role
The role of a Change Management Lead is to oversee and drive organizational change initiatives by developing and implementing change management strategies and plans that improve employee adoption and minimize resistance. It also revolves around coordinating project landmarks activities, handling sources, and ensuring that all change projects align with business objectives and deliver desired outcomes. The change management lead will work closely with various customers to facilitate smooth transitions and transformations to adopt new process, systems and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement change management strategies and plans.
- Lead organizational change initiatives from start to finish.
- Conduct impact assessments and readiness evaluations.
- Design and deliver training and communication programs.
- Engage and support customers at all levels.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with change.
- Supervise progress and report on change initiatives.
- Establish and deliver vital reporting to supervise project performance and outcomes.
- Bring strong end to end business processes, applications, and systems to facilitate transformational capability building.
- Drive visibility for and understanding of GBO initiatives with key customer groups including : employees, businesses and programs, partners and suppliers, functions and process owners.
- Defining the scope for projects with Key customers, ensuring that benefits are identified and tracked.
- Driving the implementation of the project every day with regards to time, budget and quality.
- Act a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfil the role of change sponsor.
- Provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.
- Change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project.
- Support project teams in integrating change management activities into project plans.
- Working closely with the GPOs, Technology, Markets and 3rd party partners, function heads and customers at all levels.
- Preparing reasons; obtaining approvals and seeking budget.
- Selecting, developing and overseeing an effective team, co-ordinating their activities and evaluating their performance.
- Working with multiple delivery and business partner teams to deliver change at pace and control project outcomes.
- Developing a consulting approach towards engagement and challenges through problem solving and critical thinking.
- Proactively handle project risks, resolve issues, and handle partner concerns.
