Key Responsibilities :
- Supplier Identification & Relationship Management : Assist in scouting the Indian market for suitable equipment suppliers and contribute to establishing strong relationships with suppliers. Work closely with the Procurement Manager to develop export capabilities and maintain ongoing supplier relations to ensure continuous performance improvements.
- Supplier Database & Market Intelligence : Support the compilation of market intelligence on suppliers and help evaluate long-term trends to contribute to the sourcing strategy. Assist in maintaining a supplier database and developing supplier-specific development strategies.
- Category Strategy Support : Help implement category strategies that secure supply and drive cost savings. Assist in the evaluation of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Internal Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams to support the development of a suitable quality control concept and align with internal customers and the Indian procurement team on supply requirements.
- Tendering & Contract Management : Assist in the tendering process for high-value contracts, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with procurement procedures. Support the Procurement Manager in negotiating costs, terms, and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Project Support : Participate in purchasing projects with cross-functional impact, working closely with multifunctional teams to ensure project milestones and targets are achieved.
- Technological Awareness : Stay updated with technological developments in equipment maintenance and procurement practices, assisting in the implementation of best practices within the organization.
- Procurement Reporting : Assist in preparing regular purchasing reports for management and providing insights on procurement performance, savings achieved, and supplier performance
