Infrastructure Engineer 2

Currently we are looking for The Infrastructure Engineer 2.

The Infrastructure Engineer 2 is responsible for designing, building, and implementing systems and hybrid cloud solutions in support of our global IT Infrastructure. The position serves as a primary escalation point for advanced infrastructure and user-related issues, ensuring high availability and continuity of critical systems operations. Beyond troubleshooting, you'll drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize and modernize existing systems making a real impact on performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement basic technology platforms and hybrid cloud solutions
• Safeguard the security, integrity, and confidentiality of the company's supported systems and data; collaborate on and execute basic improvements to maintain and achieve high security posture
• Design and implement solutions for backup and disaster recovery; participate in the testing and execution of disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues and outages; perform problem-solving, root-cause, and post-mortem analyses to drive process improvements
• Document the design, operation, procedures, and troubleshooting of implemented solutions and technology platforms; compose training materials and conduct training sessions with stakeholders
• Participate in audits of servers and environment to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines
• Collaborate on best practices, standards, and processes for design and administration of systems and solutions
• Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy.
