About the Role :
We are looking for a skilled and health-conscious
private chef
to cook for a young professional in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have experience preparing
light, vegetarian meals , with flexibility to include
gluten-free and vegan options
when required. The focus is on
high-nutrition, balanced, and flavourful meals
that are easy to digest and suitable for everyday consumption.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan and prepare daily meals (lunch & dinner preferred).
Create weekly menus focused on nutrition and variety.
Prepare light vegetarian food, with occasional vegan and gluten-free meals.
Maintain a hygienic and organised kitchen environment.
Purchase fresh ingredients as required and manage grocery lists.
Requirements :
Professional chef or home chef with proven experience in healthy / vegetarian cuisine.
Knowledge of gluten-free, vegan, and light cooking methods.
Awareness of nutritional balance and portion control.
Clean, punctual, and trustworthy.
Preferably speaks English or Hindi.
Application Task :
Candidates are requested to submit a
1-day sample menu
demonstrating their understanding of the brief — including
breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner . The menu should reflect :
Light vegetarian cooking style.
Balanced nutrition.
Occasional vegan and / or gluten-free substitutions.
Use of fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Compensation :
For full-time (5–6 days per week, 2 meals + snacks) :
₹35,000 – ₹50,000 per month
Higher rates can be discussed for chefs with advanced culinary or nutrition training.
