Trainer – Oncology Prior Authorization

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and deliver effective training programs on oncology prior authorization processes , payer requirements, and compliance standards.

Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires and refresher training for existing staff.

Assess skill gaps within the team and design tailored training modules to address them.

Prepare training materials, SOPs, case studies, and knowledge assessments.

Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and audits.

Stay updated on oncology treatment protocols, payer policies, and prior authorization trends to ensure training relevance.

Collaborate with team leads, managers, and quality teams to align training objectives with business needs.

Act as a mentor and subject matter expert (SME) for oncology prior authorization queries.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare-related qualification.

3–6 years of experience in Prior Authorization , with a strong focus on oncology cases .

Proven experience in training, mentoring, or conducting workshops within healthcare / RCM operations.

In-depth knowledge of oncology drugs, regimens, payer guidelines, and authorization workflows.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to design engaging training modules.

Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with healthcare / RCM software systems.
