Associate Director - New Product Development - IOT

A Leading popular Indian brand known for its wearables and connected lifestyle products, and has become a leading player in the Indian market.

They are seeeking to hire An Assocaite Director - New Product Development with experience on IOT and a strong understanding technical aspects of a product development process in wearables.

Key Responsibilities

• Scope new products(devices) and their features based on customer persona, needs, and competitiveness.
• Build and maintain the product launch roadmap and lifecycle.
• Draft detailed technical specifications documents including PRD's for hardware and software requirements.
• Create software prototypes and wireframes of software features using AI tools.
• Manage and drive the entire product development process, both internally and externally, ensuring all stakeholder timelines and deliverables are met.
• Own product quality
• Deal with component supplier ecosystems across China and India
• Achieve product assortment goals while ensuring product quality and testing standards, as well as margin expectations, are met.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand existing sales numbers on projects and create product roadmaps to meet organisation goals.
• Research extensively on new technologies.
• Anticipate unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
