Role Title : Senior Software Engineer I – QA Tester

Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Functional Testing of Java-based Microservices in an AWS cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automated API testing, contract testing,service virtualization, and resilience testing. You will work closely with development teams to ensure the functional testing of our microservices-based architecture.

We are looking for deep expertise in TOSCA or ReadyAPI, and a strong background in manual testing. The ideal candidate will of experience in API testing and preferably prior exposure to Hotel Property Management Systems.

Job Responsibilities :

• Design, develop and eExecute automated and manual test cases for cloud-based applications to ensure quality before production release.
• Design test cases for various functional scenarios in the Travel and Transportation domain.
• Create and manage defects using tools like JIRA.
• Understand and apply SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups to align testing scope and priorities.
• Perform regression and integration testing across multiple iterations.
• Record and execute test cases in Zephyr, ensuring accurate documentation of requirements and defect evidence.
• Communicate test results, defect status, and updates effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with DevOps and CI / CD teams to integrate automated tests into pipelines.
• Analyze test results, provide actionable insights, and ensure high-quality software releases.
