Role Overview
- Teachers will be responsible for delivering structured learning experiences, tracking student progress, and engaging students in meaningful learning activities. They will also work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure continuity in education. Teachers will be responsible for ensuring personalized learning plans, formal, non-formal and therapeutic education, documentation, and holistic student development through interactive learning and assessment-based methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily teaching sessions as per the PEP framework in OPD / IPD or in schoolrooms. Track student attendance, progress, and reintegration potential. Provide individualized attention and teaching when necessary. Engage students in interactive and holistic learning experiences. Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress.Work closely with parents and caregivers for academic continuity. Sensitize parents and reintegrated home school staff on cancer and post-treatment effects. Assist in identifying and filling out scholarship forms, ensuring all necessary documents are collected. Organize regular parent-teacher meetings (PTMs) to discuss student progress. Following-up with children for their reintegration purposes.Maintain vCAN entries for all educational and support assistance provided. Coordinate with the SST (Social Support Team) for holistic child development. Maintain all records related to attendance, learning progress, diagnostic assessments (DA), PEPexecution, student evaluations, and individual growth tracking. Submit monthly student progress reports to the Head Teacher. Following up with children to know their progress and schooling status.Strong classroom management and student engagement skills. Ability to deliver structured and interactive lessons. Knowledge of child-friendly teaching methodologies. Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with parents and caregivers. Ability to adapt teaching methods based on student needs and health conditions. Proficiency in record-keeping and student progress tracking. Familiarity with digital learning tools and online tutoring platforms is a plus.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Education, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field. Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience, preferably in remedial or special education. Experience in individualized learning support and student assessment methodologies. Prior work experience with children with health impairments or learning disabilities is preferred.Operational DutiesDevelop and implement lesson plans aligned with PEP goals. Use interactive and visual learning tools to support diverse learning needs. Ensure students receive structured remedial support where required.Conduct diagnostic and periodic assessments to track student progress. Maintain attendance logs and individual performance reports for each student. Follow up on reintegration status and continued learning support.Organize awareness sessions and sensitization workshops for parents. Ensure regular communication with parents on student progress.
