Job Title : Service Desk Specialist
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to manage the monitoring and incident management of our network infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-line support for network incidents and service requests, escalating issues as necessary.
Troubleshooting and diagnostics are crucial components of this position. You will utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve network-related issues, collaborate with customers or internal teams to troubleshoot basic network-related problems, and document troubleshooting procedures and configurations to ensure continuity.
Exceptional customer support skills are essential in this role, as you will provide assistance to end users and clients for network-related issues, educate users on best practices, and offer solutions for recurring problems.
Key qualifications for this position include a solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP / IP, LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.), familiarity with network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, and experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, PRTG, SolarWinds).
