Role Details

We are seeking an Education Support Officer to join our Learning Diversity Team for a fixed term contract. This role supports teachers to meet the educational needs of students, particularly those requiring additional learning support, in a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment.

You’ll be able to :

  • Support teachers in the delivery of classroom learning activities and intervention programs.
  • Assist with the evaluation and assessment of student learning needs under teacher supervision.
  • Contribute to the care and supervision of students, including those with special needs, in line with Personalised Plans for Learning (PPLs).
  • Provide practical assistance in classrooms and specialist learning areas.
  • Participate in school activities, excursions, and events as part of a collaborative and supportive team.

Do you have :

  • A Certificate IV in Education Support (or equivalent qualification) and / or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience supporting young people with diverse learning needs and a strong understanding of inclusive education practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning.
