Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our service operations, technology integration, and customer support strategy.
The ideal candidate will oversee the alignment of technology-driven service delivery, ensure operational efficiency, and build a roadmap for future technical advancements in machinery services and automation.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Oversight :
- Lead end-to-end service operations, including communication protocols (email, WhatsApp), installation planning, engineer deployment, and post-installation customer support.
Technology & Service Integration :
Guide the planning and execution of Installation & Commissioning (I&C) processes by coordinating with sales, marketing, and service teams, ensuring technological alignment with customer requirements.Operational Excellence :
Build scalable systems for service engineer allocation, AMC management, expense handling, and tour approvals.Ensure accurate financial integration with accounts for invoicing and collections.Contract & Compliance Management :
Oversee Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), including renewals, warranty tracking, and documentation for all paid service engagements.Ensure legal and compliance readiness in all customer interactions.Automation & Reporting Systems :
Drive the use of platforms like GROWSMART for accurate data collection and performance tracking.Develop dashboards to compare revenue vs. service expenses for strategic reporting.Customer & Technical Support Strategy :
Establish high-level coordination frameworks with the technical team to ensure prompt CNC and machine-related support.Provide escalation oversight for complex service / spares inquiries.Vendor & Spare Parts Governance :
Supervise spares inventory decisions, including local / import sourcing strategies with the purchase team.Approve major spares dispatches or replacements with OEMs or principals.Payment & Revenue Leadership :
Lead the service revenue strategy by aligning collections, paid services, and outstanding receivables with the finance and service teams.Ensure financial health of post-sales support.Showroom & Demo Strategy :
Strategize product demo arrangements, coordinating trials based on market and customer intelligence gathered by the team.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Partner with sales, accounts, commercial, and purchase departments to ensure seamless end-to-end service delivery and customer satisfaction.Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in a senior leadership role (preferably CTO or Head of Service / Technology Operations) in the machinery, manufacturing, or industrial automation sector.Expertise in managing service operations, field engineering teams, and AMC contracts.Strong understanding of CNC machinery, automation, and post-sales technical support frameworks.Demonstrated ability to implement service management systems and performance monitoring tools.Financial acumen for managing service-related revenue, expenses, and budget planning.Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.Language Proficiency :
Fluency in Hindi, English, and Kannada is mandatory for this role.
