We are seeking a Specialist-General Ledger Accounting to join our finance team in India. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in general ledger accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing processes, and collaborating with internal teams for audits and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
  • Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in general ledger accounting or related roles.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
