Front Office Manager — The Grand Hotels, Kanyakumari

Company

Role (Full-time, On-site)

Lead Front Office, Concierge, Bell Desk, and Transport operations.

Ensure smooth arrivals / departures, VIP handling, and lobby experience.

Coordinate room status with Housekeeping;

prioritize rush / early check-ins.

Oversee reservations, OTA coordination, upselling, and rate adherence.

Manage cash handling, billing accuracy, and night audit oversight.

Train, roster, and mentor the front-office team;

maintain SOPs.

Handle guest feedback / escalations and drive service recovery.

Track KPIs (GSS, upsell, wait time, audit scores) and submit reports.

Use PMS / POS tools for allocation, forecasting, and MIS.

Qualifications

Proven experience as Front Office Manager / Assistant Manager.

Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Hands-on with PMS / reservations and basic revenue concepts.

Knowledge of cashiering, night audit, and compliance standards.

Degree / Diploma in Hospitality (preferred).

English fluency;

Tamil / local language anadvantage.

Flexibility for shifts / weekends / holidays.
