Job Description
The Executive Producer (EP) leads the end-to-end management of multiple productions — from creative development to financial delivery. The role demands strong leadership, vision alignment, financial discipline, and operational excellence. The EP ensures that every project reflects the creative intent, meets production quality benchmarks, and delivers on time and budget.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Vision & Creative Oversight
Interpret and uphold the project’s creative and storytelling vision.
Collaborate with creators, directors, and writers to maintain tone, narrative consistency, and production feasibility.
Lead talent onboarding and team assembly based on project vision and requirements.
Evaluate scripts, treatments, and pitches for creative strength and market potential.
2. Financial Management
Oversee complete budgeting, forecasting, and financial control of projects.
Ensure productions are executed within approved budgets while managing cost efficiencies.
Handle overages and approve key production expenses and vendor contracts.
Align financial decisions with creative goals and delivery deadlines.
3. Legal & Commercial Oversight
Manage contracts, rights, licensing, and production-related agreements.
Ensure legal compliance across all projects including intellectual property, talent, and vendor relationships.
Oversee release forms, NOCs, censors, and permissions as per regulations.
4. Planning & Strategy
Define project timelines, schedules, and content pipelines.
Anticipate bottlenecks and deploy proactive solutions to maintain delivery schedules.
Align production planning with broader business and creative strategy.
5. Networking & Industry Relations
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, unions, associations, and agencies.
Build a reliable network for talent discovery and vendor partnerships.
Represent the production house at industry events, collaborations, and external partnerships.
6. Logistics & Operations
Supervise on-ground logistics, permits, and line production management.
Ensure operational efficiency during shoots, post-production, and delivery.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for smooth execution.
7. Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across creative, production, and post-production.
Build team efficiency, accountability, and cohesion.
Encourage a culture of collaboration, integrity, and innovation.

Preferred Background
Minimum 10 years of experience in Production House, OTT, or large-scale digital content production.
Proven track record of delivering multi-format projects (features, web series, branded content, or regional productions).
Hands-on experience working with cross-functional creative, production, and post teams.
Exposure to modern production workflows, including AI-assisted or VFX-heavy projects, will be an added advantage.
