Job descriptionGood understanding and experienced with key Client Onboarding, Maintenance and Offboarding processes related to Financial Market products. To manage the relationship between CPC and the business units as well as between other team members within Account Opening team. To co-ordinate with respective CPC and ensure that all activities are completed as per agreed Service Level Agreement. Understand the client requirements and deliver best in class service. Workflow monitoring and ensure timely completion of requests related to account opening and maintenance. Adherence to process documents and policies, ensure nil errors Understanding various regulatory requirements and adherence to the standards as per department operating procedure Participating in group driven training programmes along with process specific training Sharing the knowledge with team and support within the team Ensure timely completion of all e-Learning Course Compliance with all relevant Group Policies related to Account Opening as applicable. Compliance with the Group Money Laundering Prevention Policy Compliance with Group Operational Risk procedures Ensure that there is no operational loss in his / her area of control Ensure that system access controls are followed as per IT Security Policy. Adhering to laid down Operating Procedures and Group Risk Policies at all times. Ensure that Productivity / MIS are updated accurately and immediately after the completion of processing the respective transaction. Ensure that Key Control Standards are adhered to. Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles : [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] Serve as a Director of the Board Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent) Peers in Account Opening team Client Managers / RM / In-country stakeholders Peers in other units in GBS India, KL and Tianjin. Job Summary
- Responsible for Markets Account Opening and Maintenance
- To maintain high quality Client Static Data in SCI and TP system.
- Implement suitable mitigations for the identified risk issues.
- To ensure error free work with no operating losses
- Function as an independent controller in Account Opening Activities.
- Maintenance of Customer Profile Data
- Handle Mifid update activity in Client central
- Proper maintenance of SCI with regard to Customer Profile and other relevant fields
- Ensure CDD Guidelines are adhered to at all times.
- Ensure proper updating on completion status of daily Instructions and submission of EOD.
