What does a successful QA & Technical Process Writer do

At Fiserv, we are driven to maintain the highest standards of quality across our payment systems while ensuring technical processes are documented with clarity and precision. As a QA & Technical Process Writer, you will play a pivotal role in our mid-management team, combining strong expertise in both quality assurance and technical writing within the fintech or payments industry.

What you will do :

• Design, implement, and maintain QA processes and test strategies for payment systems and fintech products.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure product quality and regulatory adherence.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor key quality metrics and report on performance trends.
• Create, maintain, and update detailed technical documentation, including process flows, SOPs, user manuals, and compliance documentation.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and product managers to gather information and validate content.
• Standardize and templatize SOPs and process documentation to ensure consistency, scalability, and ease of use.
• Support knowledge management initiatives by identifying content gaps and proposing improvements.
• Ensure documentation aligns with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a bridge between multiple functions, including QA, technology, product, and compliance teams.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of quality and knowledge sharing.
