Job descriptionLead the design and production of creative assets, including brochures, flyers, posters, newsletters, academic handbooks, and other marketing collaterals. Oversee print production processes and vendor coordination to ensure timely delivery and superior output quality. Conceptualise and execute branding for physical spaces and events, including building signage, environmental graphics, and exhibition displays. Maintain a central repository of creative assets and ensure adherence to brand guidelines across all departments and platforms. Provide end-to-end creative and branding support for institutional events, conferences, and exhibitions. Design and produce event-specific collaterals such as stage backdrops, standees, event branding kits, and promotional materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive on-ground brand presence and visual storytelling. Ensure all creative and communication outputs reflect Ashoka's brand identity, visual language, and institutional values. Support the development and dissemination of brand guidelines, templates, and toolkits for internal teams. Review and approve internal and external communication materials for consistency, tone, and visual accuracy. Generate periodic reports on website and campaign performance. Provide data-driven recommendations to improve brand reach, design efficiency, and communication impact. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva. Strong sense of design aesthetics, layout composition, and print production processes. Demonstrated experience in collateral design, large-format printing, and environmental branding (signage, backdrops, installations, etc.). Experience in creating and managing websites, with hands-on skills in WordPress, Drupal, or similar website development and management platforms. Working knowledge of Google Suite for analytics, SEO tools, and performance tracking platforms. Technical knowledge of digital marketing tools, campaign coordination, and analytics. Understanding of brand identity systems and multi-platform visual consistency. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management, vendor coordination, and multitasking abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communication, Design, Media, or a related field. 5–7 years of relevant experience in brand management, design, or creative communication Prior experience in higher education, creative agencies, or mission-driven organisations will be preferred. A professional portfolio showcasing creative design work and campaign involvement will be an added advantage.
