IT Lead Engineer - IT Infrastructure Management

Strong IT Infrastructure Lead Profile :

Mandatory (Experience 1) Must have 10+ years of hands-on experience in global IT Infrastructure management, including administration of Azure Entra ID, Office 365 Suite (Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive), Azure Exchange, Microsoft Teams, Intune, and Windows Autopilot

Mandatory (Experience 2) Must have strong expertise in Azure / Office 365 compliance and governance, including audit readiness, data governance policies, and global regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)

Mandatory (Experience 3) Must have solid experience managing IT operations end-to-end : user onboarding / offboarding, identity & access management, SAML / SSO integrations, and enterprise-wide (Experience 4) Must have strong knowledge and hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls, FortiGate WiFi, VPN, routing, subnetting, and overall network administration

Mandatory (Experience 5) Must have proven capability in endpoint and device management : ManageEngine Endpoint Central, Assets Explorer, Antivirus Endpoint Security, JAMF (macOS), and multi-OS troubleshooting (Windows, Linux, Mac)

Mandatory (Core Skill 1) Must have strong Jira / Confluence administration experience for global teams, including configuration, access control, and workflow governance

Mandatory (Core Skill 2) Must have experience supporting, patching, updating, and troubleshooting multi-OS environments (Windows, Linux, macOS) with strong focus on security hardening and vulnerability fixes

Mandatory (Core Skill 3) Must have strong hands-on experience in shell scripting / bash / PowerShell for automation, system tasks, and operational efficiency

Mandatory (A / V & Collaboration Tools) Must have experience in configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco / Polycom audio-video solutions and collaboration tools

Preferred :

Preferred (Technology Exposure) Experience with Highspot, HubSpot, Gong, or similar platforms for basic administration

Role & Responsibilities :

The IT Head will play a pivotal role in shaping, managing, and securing Docerees global technology landscape. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership position that requires the ability to oversee end-to-end IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, global operations, and team management. The incumbent will be accountable for building a resilient, scalable, and secure IT ecosystem that aligns with Docerees long-term business vision and supports global expansion, operational excellence, and technological innovation.

IT Infrastructure Management :

The IT Head will lead the architecture, deployment, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure across all of Docerees global offices and distributed teams. This includes supervising servers, cloud services, networking equipment, hardware lifecycle, software procurement, and enterprise platforms. Ensuring high availability, business continuity, and operational reliability across regions will be a central responsibility. The leader will plan and drive modernization efforts, cloud adoption, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance performance, automate processes, and support the companys future growth.

Cybersecurity and Risk Management :

A key focus of this role is establishing a robust cybersecurity posture capable of defending against evolving threats. The IT Head will develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and controls to protect corporate data, intellectual property, and mission-critical systems. Responsibilities include continuous monitoring of vulnerabilities, threat identification, incident response readiness, and enforcing best-in-class security practices across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments. The incumbent will also implement strong identity and access controls, multi-factor authentication, endpoint security, and zero-trust principles to safeguard Docerees global environment.

Compliance and Data Privacy :

The IT Head will ensure strict adherence to global data security and privacy regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and other applicable compliance frameworks. This includes coordinating internal and external audits, maintaining documentation, supporting certification efforts, and ensuring industry-standard governance is implemented across the organization. The leader will work closely with legal, security, and business teams to uphold data governance policies, ensure audit readiness, and minimize organizational risk.

IT Governance, Policy Design & Strategy :

The position requires building a long-term IT strategy aligned with Docerees business goals and scaling roadmap. This includes designing and enforcing IT policies, SOPs, and best practices that strengthen security, operational efficiency, and compliance. The IT Head will lead budgeting activities, optimize technology investments, ensure cost-effective licensing and renewals, and plan for future infrastructure expansions. Creating governance standards for incident management, asset management, and change management will be essential.

Vendor Management & Contract Negotiation :

The IT Head will be responsible for managing relationships with multiple global vendors, technology partners, and service providers. This includes negotiating pricing, evaluating proposals, managing SLAs, and selecting tools that bring long-term value to the organization. Ensuring optimal vendor performance and maintaining strong contracts for cloud, security, hardware, and software services are key expectations.

Team Leadership & Development :

This role requires leading a geographically distributed IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. The IT Head will mentor team members, set clear performance expectations, and build a strong internal capability for infrastructure, support, and security operations. The leader should excel at coaching teams through complex challenges and driving execution on strategic projects.

Ideal Candidate (Expanded) :

• The position requires a bachelors or masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of progressive experience across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations, with at least 7 years in a leadership or managerial role. Experience managing global IT environments, distributed teams, and multi-office setups is essential.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Entra ID, Office 365, Azure Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Intune, Windows Autopilot, SAML / Azure SSO configurations, and enterprise identity management is mandatory. The candidate should be adept at Office 365 compliance management, data governance, and audit readiness.
• Strong understanding of IT compliance, asset management, onboarding / offboarding, and user lifecycle management is required. Experience with Jira, FortiGate firewalls, FortiGate EMS, enterprise Wi-Fi, VPN configurations, and endpoint security solutions is highly desirable. The candidate must be able to support and secure Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, perform patching, vulnerability remediation, and maintain system hardening.
• Proficiency with ManageEngine Endpoint Central, Assets Explorer, JAMF, and similar asset management tools is expected. Basic configuration knowledge of Highspot, HubSpot, and Gong will be an added advantage. Experience with Cisco and Polycom audio / video systems, remote support, and service reliability monitoring is essential.
• Strong project management, analytical capability, communication skills, stakeholder management, and experience driving GRC initiatives are critical for success.
