We are seeking a seasoned API Platform Lead to manage the development and deployment of enterprise-level API platforms in both non-prod and prod environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up multi-region Azure API Management platforms, with a strong focus on security, best practices, and efficient configurations. This role involves leading a team to build and deploy the API platform on Azure, collaborating closely with customers, managing stakeholder expectations, and planning for the successful execution of the project. Technical Expertise : API Design and Development : Proficiency in designing, developing, and deploying APIs using Azure API Management and other Azure services. Extensive experience with .NET framework, API development, and microservices (.NET core, c#, RESTful APIs, Microservices, SQL, Integration Patterns) Azure Services : In-depth understanding of various Azure services like Azure API Management, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps, Mongo DB, Elastic search etc Integration : Expertise in integrating APIs with different systems and services, including on-premises and cloud-based solutions. Security : Knowledge of API security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, API keys, and Azure Active Directory integration. Microservices Architecture : Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Management and Leadership : Project Management : Ability to manage API projects from conception to deployment, including requirement gathering, planning, and execution. Team Leadership : Experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers and engineers. Stakeholder Communication : Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Strategic Planning : Capability to align API strategies with business objectives and create roadmaps for API development and deployment. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Troubleshooting : Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve API-related issues.
