The Credit Analytics team supports Credit Management through advanced analytics and Research and Development efforts that deliver value-adding predictive models, insights, and data to underwriting, fraud, account management, and collections strategies.The team is also responsible for remediation support of issues which includes quality and compliance of data that is used across multiple business functions.Under supervision and guidance, the Credit Analytics Analyst 2 monitors ongoing performance of Credit Management models and adheres to the Model Governance framework.This Analyst produces insights that encompass different product types and channels and also assists with ensuring accurate and timely implementation of solutions while communicating results.Responsibilities additionally encompass preparing analyses that measure the effectiveness of new models and data from external vendors and quantifying overall financial impact to the business.Essential Job Functions :
- Create and Design - Conduct performance checks on Credit Management models and data attributes. Prepare necessary data for effectiveness analysis, evaluate model predictive power using statistical metrics, and compare model / attribute effectiveness to benchmarks. Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis. Assist with Issue Remediation analytical tasks and understand impact to the business as needed.
- Review and Evaluate - Extract data from a variety of customized sources with several tools and navigate and pull logical meaning around the data. Understand how to find and extract the data needed during the design phase. Structure the output during creation and understand what it means and implies during evaluation. Optimize the data by turning it into information, delivering the results, and sharing recommendations directly to internal partners, which include the model risk management team and credit analytics leadership.
- Collaboration - Translate analytical results into useful recommendations for manager review. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills when working with internal partners and when presenting results to various audiences. Develop foundational knowledge of credit card operations, banking, financial, loyalty rewards, retail, and credit card regulations while working with the business. Meet critical deadlines established by manager by prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.

Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, information systems, economics, finance, marketing, business, or related field of study.
- 2+ years of experience working in statistics, mathematics, computer science, information systems, economics, finance, marketing, business, or similar field.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Master s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, information systems, economics, finance, marketing, business, or related field of study.
- Experience with payment, lending, savings or similar financial products.
