Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Supply chain Management

A supply chain management professional in a corporate environment is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery. They ensure that products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time while maintaininghigh standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Manage procurement processes :  Oversee sourcing and purchasing of materials and services to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Coordinate logistics :  Plan and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

Optimize supply chain performance :  Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Collaborate with stakeholders :  Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Ensure compliance :  Ensure all supply chain activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Certifications :  Certification in supply chain management or related fields.

Experience :  Experience in specific industries such as manufacturing, retail, or logistics.

Minimum qualifications

BE / B Tech / MCA

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

Minimum of two years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role.

Strong analytical skills, proficiency in supply chain software, and excellent communication abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good PowerBi development experience with complex data models

Solid relevant experience in PowerBi Desktop and PowerBi Prep.

Strong Experience with Postgress.

Experience with SQL – Deep understanding of techniques (e.g. : Greenplum, AWS Aurora and Postgres)

Preferred qualifications

Creative ways of solving problems efficiently and logically

Development experience in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.

Solid grasp of distributed architecture.
