Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Editor located in Kharadi Pune. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage, inserting music, dialogue, and sound effects, creating rough and final cuts, and ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running. The task will also include reviewing shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity, consulting with stakeholders from production to post-production process, and continuously discovering and implementing new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve etc.
• Basic understanding of special effects, 3D, and compositing
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work that demonstrates an understanding of film production style and techniques
• Excellent creativity and a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Cinematography, Multimedia, or related field is a plus
• Experience in the media, entertainment, or advertising industry is a plus
