KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Design, architect, and optimize Teradata EDW solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Lead performance tuning efforts using TASM and other workload management tools.
- Design and implement data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and SageMaker.
- Manage Teradata AI Unlimited (Teradata On-Demand) deployments in AWS, ensuring secure and efficient cloud infrastructure.
- Integrate and optimize SAS workflows with EDW and other data sources.
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards for business insights and reporting.
- Create and optimize data workflows using Python and PySpark.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor, offering technical guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Drive application design and optimization in AWS, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Lead high-impact initiatives with accountability for quality, timelines, and stakeholder engagement.
- Communicate effectively across geographies and functions to build trust and alignment.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS) :
3 - 6 yrs of professional experience.Hands-on experience in Teradata performance tuning, Teradata On-Demand and Teradata AI.Experience with SAS programming and integration with EDW (Enterprise Data warehouse) systems.Refactor SAS logic to use Teradata-native functions and avoid incompatible SAS functions.Automate SAS workflows and integrate with alerting systems.Profile SAS jobs for performance and resource metricsEnable SQL pushdown to Teradata using pass-through queries and LIBNAME engine.Solid foundation in DWH concepts, architecture, and implementation.AWS : Practical experience with S3, Glue, Lambda, and cloud infrastructure management.We can also look at GCP or Azure as well as an alternative to AWS.PySpark is not mandatory, rather a good to have skill
