Summary :

Magna is seeking a highly capable and experienced Developer 2 to join our Delivery Team. This role is suited for professionals who have built a strong technical foundation across multiple Salesforce platforms and are ready to lead development efforts with confidence. Developer 2s take ownership of technical (primarily code-based) solutioning, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and contribute to architectural discussions, platform innovation, and code quality across projects.

Responsibilities :

• Design and implement advanced Salesforce development solutions across 2-3 platforms, leveraging strong platform knowledge and technical acumen. Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs (demonstrated via design documentation) in collaboration with architects and project leads. Own complex development tasks including custom scripting, API integrations, automation, and advanced personalization.
• Engage with clients to facilitate / lead technical discovery conversations and working sessions, recommending development best practices and ensuring technical solutions align with business goals.
• Lead development sprints or workstreams, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met. Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, identifying root causes and proposing long-term solutions.
• Implement and oversee the implementation of both code-based and declarative solutions, test / QA and document builds (including test script creation) on 2-3 primary Salesforce platforms. Emphasis on following platform and client-specific coding guidelines, naming conventions, deployment practices, etc.
• Write and review high-quality code using Apex, LWC, AMPscript, SSJS, SOQL, JavaScript, and related technologies.
• Contribute to internal technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Mentor junior developers by reviewing work, sharing feedback, and providing development guidance.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies and contribute to planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and emerging tools, bringing new solutions to the team.
