About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager with expertise in Not-for-Profit (NFP), Single Audit, Government, and / or HUD engagements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US GAAP and US GAAS, with proven leadership and analytical skills. This role involves managing audit engagements, leading teams, ensuring compliance with auditing standards, and maintaining high-quality client service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with US GAAP and US GAAS.
Lead and manage a team of accounting and auditing professionals.
Perform independent accounting and auditing research and provide technical guidance.
Analyze presentation and disclosure impacts for financial statements.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers, supervisors, and U.S.-based colleagues.
Ensure timely completion of audits and meet deadlines based on project urgency.
Utilize Caseware and Caseview for audit documentation (preferred).
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and adopt new audit technologies or tools.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in US GAAP and US GAAS audits.
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or other recognized professional qualification in accounting or taxation.
Strong knowledge of NFP, Single Audit, Government, and / or HUD industries.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Quick learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable to new software and technologies.
Willingness to work extended hours during busy seasons.
