Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Chef located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Executive Chef will be responsible for designing and producing menu items, overseeing kitchen operations both at the Central Kitchen as well as the outlets, managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and maintaining inventory levels. The role also involves collaborating with management to plan and execute events, monitoring budgetary constraints, and staying updated with culinary trends to innovate and improve menu offerings.
Qualifications
Culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Exceptional creativity and attention to detail
Degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
