Job Summary
The EHS Officer will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and compliance of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures throughout the 3-year ground-mounted tracker-based photovoltaic (PV) and power project. The candidate will be pivotal in promoting a safe and healthy work environment aligned with international standards and local regulations, minimizing risk, and ensuring continuous monitoring and reporting of EHS performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce EHS policies, procedures, and standards in line with NEBOSH, ISO, OSHA, and local Uzbek regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, safety audits, and environmental impact assessments.
- Drive awareness, training, and communication programs to ensure all personnel are compliant with EHS guidelines.
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective / preventive actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders on EHS matters ensuring strict compliance.
- Prepare and maintain mandatory documentation including experience letters, education certificates, permits, and licenses.
- Facilitate regulatory inspections and liaison with government and environmental agencies.
- Lead emergency preparedness, crisis management, and business continuity initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
NEBOSH Certification is mandatory.Proven experience as an EHS professional in solar PV and power project environments, ideally with ground-mounted tracker systems.Experience with international and local EHS standards, audits, and compliance.Strong ability to interpret and implement safety regulations and best practices.Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills.Experience working on multi-year large-scale renewable energy projects preferred.Must have experience letters for all previous roles with matching education certificates.Application Process
