Dear Sir,
We are currently looking for a
qualified ESG Professional
for our client, a reputed
OEM company based in Punjab
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)
initiatives, ensuring compliance with global sustainability standards, and leading the company’s journey toward
Net Zero
and responsible manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities :
1. ESG Strategy & Framework Development
Develop, implement, and monitor the company’s overall ESG roadmap in line with global sustainability frameworks and corporate goals.
Integrate ESG principles into business strategy, operations, and reporting systems.
Conduct ESG risk assessments and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
2. GHG Accounting & Climate Action
Lead
GHG emission inventory
and reporting as per
ISO 14064
and
GHG Protocol
standards.
Define and track carbon reduction targets aligned with
SBTi
(Science-Based Targets Initiative).
Work closely with plant and corporate teams to implement
energy efficiency
and
carbon reduction projects
3. Regulatory & International Compliance
Ensure adherence to evolving regulations such as
CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism)
for exports to the EU.
Liaise with internal and external auditors for sustainability and ESG compliance reviews.
Stay abreast of new ESG-related legislation and reporting obligations.
4. Sustainability Reporting & Ratings
Prepare and publish sustainability / ESG reports in alignment with
GRI
CDP
, and
TCFD
standards.
Manage
EcoVadis
assessments and drive continuous improvement in ESG ratings and rankings.
Conduct
Materiality Assessments
to identify key environmental and social priorities.
5. Net Zero & Circular Economy Initiatives
Develop the company’s
Net Zero strategy
, including carbon offsetting and renewable energy adoption.
Promote circular economy practices — waste reduction, recycling, and sustainable sourcing.
Drive supplier sustainability programs and partner engagement for responsible supply chains.
6. Stakeholder Engagement & Capacity Building
Collaborate with leadership, employees, and external stakeholders to foster ESG awareness and accountability.
Conduct internal training programs on sustainability, compliance, and reporting best practices.
Candidate Profile : Experience :
8–10 years in ESG, Sustainability, or Environment Management roles (preferably in a manufacturing or automotive / OEM setup).
Qualification :
Postgraduate in Environmental Management / Sustainability / Engineering / ESG or related field.
Strong understanding of international ESG frameworks (GRI, CDP, SBTi, TCFD, UN SDGs).
Proven track record in implementing
GHG accounting
CBAM compliance
, and
sustainability reporting
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Compensation & Location :
CTC Range :
₹20–30 LPA
