Key Responsibilities
- Hardware Design Engineer – Paralleling Systems
- Hardware development for custom DMC / Switchgear projects on time which exceeds customer expectations.
- The candidate for this role will provide customer facing engineering, system design and hardware development.
- Customer Facing Engineering Recommend solutions and value engineering opportunities as requested. Consult with other engineers and experts as needed to provide the best possible design. Consult with distributors and end customers to fully understand customer requirements. Create submittal drawings and operational philosophy documents as required.
- System Design and Hardware Development.
- Create design drawings and documents to fulfil requirements for switchgear / DMC system requirements.
- Create and release Bills of Materials
- Create Auto CAD Electrical drawings as required to meet customer requirements
- Create shop folder documentation for manufacturing.
- Maintain high quality level for all technical documentation.
- Follow the project's technical schedule.
- Create as-built documentation to changes made in manufacturing related to design issues.
- This position suits a person who is driven to be flexible, motivated, customer focused and committed to engineering excellence. An ideal candidate will have a background in Electrical power distribution systems, generator sets, switchgear and control panel manufacturing, electronic controls, and project management principals. A candidate with drafting knowledge is preferred. This role would suit someone with the desire to work in an environment where they are responsible delivering solutions to customers who demand high quality.
Skill And Experience Required
Electrical Engineering degree or similar.Strong communication skills both written and oral, combined with above average PC skills.AutoCAD Electrical skills or Experience is must. 2-4 Years of experience is preferred.Thanks & Regards,
