As such, the business is building a competitive advantage through technology and digitising interaction with customers and its core operational processes. Against this backdrop, Global One IT has been mandated by the executive board to lead the technology transformation of Hapag-Lloyd.

This role is based in Chennai, which has recently been established as one of three global IT hubs for Hapag-Lloyd and will serve as the global IT development hub. The software engineer is required to play a crucial role in helping Hapag-Lloyd to achieve its goals by successfully innovating and creating world-class solutions while optimizing costs as efficiently as possible.

THE ROLE

The Observability Integration Engineer is responsible for supporting product teams with Open Telemetry applications instrumentation and supporting the Application Observability Platform team in 24 / 7 / 365 Open Telemetry infrastructure maintenance.
