Key Responsibilities :
1. Market & Supply Chain Analysis :
- Conduct in-depth research on the Indian wind power industry, including development dynamics, policies, regulations, competitive landscape, and future trends.
- Perform comprehensive analysis of the supply chain for wind power equipment (e.g., blades, gearboxes, generators, towers, control systems) in India, focusing on structure, cost composition, and supplier distribution.
- Regularly provide forward-looking market insights and supply chain risk assessment reports to support the company's procurement decisions and business strategy.
2. Supplier Sourcing & Development :
Proactively source, identify, screen, and evaluate potential suppliers of wind power equipment and services in the Indian market based on company strategic needs.Lead qualification audits, factory inspections, technical capability assessments, and financial status investigations of new suppliers.Develop and implement local supplier development plans to enhance their technical, quality, and management capabilities to meet the company's stringent requirements.3. Strategic Sourcing & Contract Management :
Lead cross-functional negotiation teams for commercial and technical negotiations with suppliers.Oversee the drafting, review, and finalization of procurement contracts, ensuring optimal terms on cost, quality, delivery, and service while effectively managing risks.Establish and maintain core supplier relationships, building long-term, stable strategic partnerships with key suppliers.4. Supply Chain Coordination & Issue Resolution :
Act as the primary liaison between the company and Indian suppliers, coordinating to resolve all issues arising during cooperation, including but not limited to delivery delays, quality disputes, price fluctuations, and technical changes.Work closely with internal Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Project departments to ensure supplier performance meets project execution requirements.Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic procurement, supplier development, or supply chain management within the wind power or heavy machinery / power equipment manufacturing industry.Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of wind power industry technology, products, manufacturing processes, and supply chain ecosystems. Familiarity with the Indian wind power market is highly advantageous.
