Job Description :
Position : Executive Cost Manager - Civil (Post -Contract)
Location : Mumbai
Responsibilities :
Experience of post-contract services, interim applications, change management, variation valuation and extension of time claims.
Detailed experience of working with standard form contracts, FIDIC preferred, and administration of contract procedures.
Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles, professional approach and confidence in presenting to clients, other consultants and project stakeholders.
Demonstrable experience in dealing with contractor's personnel with confidence and assurance.
Report writing, Estimate reports, Cost reports, Procurement reports and Tender reports.
Managing the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively
Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively
Ensuring that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively
Ensuring the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client
Value engineering and life cycle costing
Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed
Skills Required :
Prior experience of handling Residential, high-rise, commercial projects is required and candidates with Residential project exposure will be preferred.
Preferably should know background working on CostX
Good knowledge of all methods of construction and procurement.
Experienced with or managing team that uses multiple estimating tools and applications.
Qualifications Required :
Education - B.E / B.Tech - Civil
Post Graduate Qualification in a relevant field would be an added advantage
Better candiadate has relevant experience of working for a construction consultancy
15-18 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
