Financial Controller

Job descriptionPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports, including key financial metrics and variance analysis. Provide actionable insights to management for strategic decision-making. Lead budgeting and forecasting processes; monitor budget adherence and highlight deviations. Monitor and enhance internal financial controls and processes. Drive automation and digitalization initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting. Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, TDS, and other statutory payments. Support treasury functions, including cash flow management and banking operations. Develop the finance & accounts team. Liaise with senior management and external stakeholders as required. Qualification & Experience Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a listed company environment. Experience in consolidation, financial reporting, and compliance with IND-AS. Technical Skills Proficient in MS-Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint). Hands-on experience with systems (SUN-FMS, E-Merge, Zoho Books). Working knowledge of SEBI, Companies Act, GST, and other statutory requirements. Soft Skills Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
1) Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements as per IND-AS and other applicable standards.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI (LODR), Companies Act, and other statutory requirements for listed companies.
- Coordinate with statutory, internal, and secretarial auditors for smooth audit closure and timely resolution of audit queries.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of all regulatory returns and disclosures.
