Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Planning Analyst with expertise in IBM Cognos TM1 to join our team. In this role, you will help drive high-impact financial planning, forecasting solutions, and assist in the optimization of business processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve the organizations financial planning process using IBM Planning Analytics tools like TM1, PAW, and PAX. This role will enable you to leverage your deep technical skills in financial reporting, data analysis, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making processes and drive operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities :

• In this role, you will lead the development and execution of financial planning and forecasting models using IBM Cognos TM1 and other related tools.
• You will analyze and interpret financial data to assist with strategic decision-making and provide insights into financial performance, helping to identify key trends and opportunities for improvement.
• You will play a crucial role in designing, building, and deploying IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) models and solutions.
• This includes implementing TI processes, Rules, and Web Sheets to automate and streamline financial planning processes.
• You will also develop and manage PAW (Planning Analytics Workspace) reports and dashboards, ensuring they are user-friendly and effectively meet business needs.
• Additionally, your proficiency in PAX (Planning Analytics for Excel) for financial reporting will be integral to this role. Working closely with the finance team, you will develop financial reports and analysis to provide insights into budget variances, trends, and forecasts.
• You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to build comprehensive forecasting models that align with business goals.
• As part of your responsibilities, you will ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial models and reports. Identifying and implementing solutions to automate repetitive tasks, reduce errors, and optimize data workflows within the IBM Cognos TM1 environment will be key.
• You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving TM1 or reporting-related issues and providing training and documentation for end-users.
• Your role will require you to continuously look for opportunities to optimize financial systems, models, and reporting, in line with business requirements.
• Your contributions will help improve the financial planning process, ensuring that models evolve to meet the changing needs of the business.
