Role Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
Tour Planning & Itinerary Management
Prepare customized domestic tour packages as per client requirements.
Design itineraries covering transportation, accommodation, sightseeing, and activities.
Ensure the itineraries are cost-effective, feasible, and align with client preferences.
Coordination with Suppliers & Vendors
Coordinate with hotels, transporters, DMCs, and local service providers for bookings and confirmations.
Negotiate rates and contracts to maintain profitability.
Ensure timely confirmation and smooth execution of all travel arrangements.
Booking & Documentation
Handle hotel, transport, sightseeing, and other ground service bookings.
Ensure vouchers, tickets, and invoices are accurately prepared and shared with clients.
Maintain updated records of all bookings and client communications.
Client Servicing
Serve as the point of contact for clients before, during, and after the tour.
Provide pre-tour briefings, assistance during travel, and post-tour feedback collection.
Handle last-minute changes, cancellations, or emergencies efficiently.
Financial Coordination
Prepare cost sheets, tour quotations, and handle vendor payments as per company policy.
Ensure collection of advance and final payments from clients on time.
Maintain reconciliation reports for each booking.
Quality & Service Assurance
Ensure all tours are executed with high service quality and customer satisfaction.
Regularly review supplier performance and provide feedback for improvement.
Handle complaints or service lapses promptly and professionally.
Product Knowledge & Market Awareness
Stay updated on domestic destinations, travel trends, hotel inventory, and new attractions.
Suggest innovative itineraries and add-on experiences to enhance packages.
Participate in product training and destination updates conducted by the company.
Team Collaboration & Reporting
Coordinate with the Sales, Accounts, and Visa teams for seamless execution of client files.
Maintain daily and weekly reports on bookings, inquiries, and conversions.
Support colleagues during peak seasons and contribute to team targets.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of domestic destinations (North, South, East & West India).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking tools.
Attention to detail, multitasking, and time management skills.
Customer-oriented approach and problem-solving mindset.
