Job descriptionConceptualize and manage screen-free parenting workshops, kids’ activity sessions, and community programs that bring parents into the Pegasus ecosystem. Create and oversee partnerships with schools, housing societies, and community groups to build awareness. Lead on-ground activations to strengthen trust and brand affinity. Plan and execute Pegasus presence at book fairs, parenting expos, and pop-ups. Curate event experiences that combine sales with brand storytelling. Manage logistics, budgets, and cross-team coordination for smooth execution. Build and lead a cross-functional team covering website operations, content, digital marketing, customer engagement, and event management. Develop quarterly and annual growth roadmaps in alignment with Pegasus’ mission : to raise screen-free children through books, puzzles, and games. Work closely with the leadership team on new initiatives, product launches, and data-driven decision making. 8–12 years of experience in e-commerce / D2C leadership, preferably in consumer brands, publishing, or edtech. Strong digital-first mindset with proven expertise in Shopify / e-commerce platforms, performance marketing, CRM flows, and analytics. Hands-on experience with community or events management is a big plus. Entrepreneurial, creative, and passionate about children’s wellbeing and screen-free parenting.
Pegasus, a purpose-driven Children’s Wellbeing Company, is seeking a dynamic Head of D2C & Community to lead our direct-to-consumer business and parent engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Online Sales & Growth
- Own the P&L of the Pegasus D2C division across all online channels – company website, meta and own app.
- Drive traffic and conversion strategies (performance marketing, SEO / SEM, influencer & content campaigns).
- Build scalable funnels for acquisition, engagement, and retention, with strong focus on lifetime value of parents.
