Mechanical Design Engineer (Solidworks)

Job Summary

This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Engineer at Innotec Power in Faridabad. We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with experience in the Motors & Alternators industry and knowledge of sheet metal design. The candidate will be responsible for developing new designs, creating 3D / 2D models, preparing engineering documentation, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of design engineering experience in motors, alternators, or related rotating electrical machines..
• Strong expertise in SolidWorks and Design, Fabrication, and Assembly processes.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing drawings & familiarity with industry standards (IEC, NEMA, IS).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Motor and Alternator Design principles, Manufacturing & Quality processes, and industry standards.
• Knowledge of Sheet Metal manufacturing processes will be a plus.
• Excellent communication, Strong interpersonal, negotiation and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to different situations

Compensation / Remuneration :

The shortlisted candidate / candidates will initially be hired on a probation basis for a 3 or 6-month period during which he / she will be entitled to an annual CTC of INR 3,00,000 to 7,00,000 (Based on the Skill Set, Experience and Qualifications). During the probation period, the company will evaluate the mutual fit of the candidate with the company.
