About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and technically skilled Linux / Cloud Support Engineer to join our team. You’ll manage, optimize, and troubleshoot Linux-based servers and cloud environments, ensuring seamless uptime and top performance for global clients. The role demands ownership, deep technical curiosity, and the ability to handle high-impact infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian) across hosting and cloud platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve performance, load, I / O, service, and network issues.
- Deploy and tune LAMP / LEMP stacks (Apache, Nginx, PHP-FPM, MySQL / MariaDB).
- Monitor systems with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana , and proactively act on alerts.
- Perform log analysis (syslog, journalctl, secure, application logs) for incident resolution.
- Apply security patches, OS updates , and implement hardening best practices.
- Automate tasks and server maintenance using Bash, Ansible, or Python.
- Support cloud migrations and setups across AWS / DigitalOcean / similar providers.
- Configure networking, firewall, and load-balancing for high-availability environments.
- Manage hosting control panels (cPanel, Plesk, Webmin, Virtualmin).
- Create and maintain technical documentation, RCA reports, and internal KBs.
- Provide direct client support via email, ticketing, and chat—resolving escalated cases independently.
