Task Description : Power BI Developer

Must-Have Skills & Experience

Power BI – Expert level (5–7+ years)

o DAX, Power Query (M language), measures, advanced data modeling, row-level security.

o Experience with complex dashboards, reports, and performance optimization.

o Strong understanding of Power BI Service (publishing, workspace management, governance).

Snowflake

o SQL proficiency

o Data modeling and data warehouse concepts (star / snowflake schema, fact / dimension tables).

o Integration with BI tools (Power BI, ETL / ELT processes).

Data Warehousing & Analytics – 5+ years

o Solid understanding of ETL / ELT pipelines, dimensional modeling, and data governance.

o Ability to work with large datasets, optimize queries, and manage performance.

Other Skills : Nice-to-Have Skills

Microsoft Fabric (backend) – Experience with Lakehouses, Data Pipelines, OneLake, and Synapse integration.

IBM Cognos – Knowledge of Cognos reporting, dashboarding, and migration to Power BI.

Cloud platforms – Azure (preferred)

Project Management Tools – Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Agile Methodology – Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams.
