Job descriptionBasic design knowledge of vehicle suspension system. Well versed with math modelling, performance predictions & design optimization Knowledge of stress analysis viz., Ansys, Hypermesh & MBD tools viz., Adams Knowledge of CAD modelling, PLM tools. Hands on experience on UG-NX, Team center will be added advantage Exposure to manufacturing process like forging, Aluminium PDC / GDC, Press & fabrication, etc. Task execution speed Initiative, desire to Learn Effective team player Proactive and Good interpersonal skills Good communication skill
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for design & development of chassis components like shock absorbers / front forks / handle bar / suspension linkages / steering system
- Develop new design concepts & its analytical / experimental evaluation
- Develop mathematical models for mechanical systems viz., suspension-using tools like Matlab, Simulink.
- Analyze suspension systems using Adams tool to optimize kinematics & dynamics.
- Address DFM / DFA / DFS aspects in design
- Understand field & internal testing failure phenomenon, analyze & provide countermeasures
- Evaluate 3D packages, clearances with interfacing parts, conduct stack up analysis.
- Check 2D drawings & incorporate GD&T parameters
- Conduct FE analysis & interpret results for design decisions
- Co-ordination with CAE, Testing, materials, manufacturing, service, vendor teams
- Suggest & execute VA / VE ideas
