Specialist - EV Charge

EV Charge :

Key Responsibilities :

Design and validate high-voltage charging systems (typically 400V and above)

Integrate various charger types (e.g., CCS2, CHAdeMO, GB / T, NACS) into vehicle architecture

Develop plant / control logic for HV charging system requirements using tools like MATLAB Simulink, Stateflow, and Simscape

Ensure compliance with global standards and regulations for EV charging

Review plant models and ensure alignment with system requirements for HV charging needs

EV or hybrid vehicle development controls and plant model development

Mentor junior engineers and review their deliverables

Propose improvements to development processes and tools

Inverter control

SOC / SOH estimation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field

Strong understanding of EV high-voltage systems and safety protocols

Familiarity with global EV charging standards and infrastructure

Hands-on experience with simulation and modeling tools

Experience with charging communication protocols (ISO 15118, CAN, PLC)

Charging Protocols : Deep understanding of ISO 15118, DIN 70121, CAN, and PLC communication standards

Power Electronics : Knowledge of converters, inverters, and onboard charger topologies.

Knowledge of Global Charging Standards : CCS2, CHAdeMO, GB / T, NACS
