Key Responsibilities :
- HR Service Delivery Oversight : Manage and coordinate HR operational services across technical sites, including onboarding, workforce administration, time & attendance, payroll coordination, and offboarding—tailored to the needs of a multi-shift environment.
- Shift Workforce Support : Ensure HR services are accessible and responsive to employees working across various shifts, including early morning, night, and weekend schedules. Partner with site operations to align HR support with production cycles and shift patterns.
- Union Relations & Compliance : Collaborate with Employee Relations and Legal teams to ensure HR practices comply with collective labor agreements and local labor laws. Support grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and union consultations as needed.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Serve as a key point of contact for site leadership, line managers, and employees, ensuring HR services are delivered with consistency, empathy, and operational relevance.
- Process Improvement & Standardization : Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize HR processes across sites while accommodating local operational needs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and employee experience.
- Data Accuracy & Reporting : Maintain accurate HR data and generate reports to support audits, workforce planning, and operational reviews. Ensure timely and compliant documentation of employee records.
- Vendor & System Coordination : Liaise with external service providers (e.g., payroll, benefits) and internal teams (e.g., HRIS, IT) to ensure seamless service delivery and system performance.
- Project Leadership : Lead or contribute to HR operational projects, including system upgrades, policy rollouts, and organizational changes impacting technical operations.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in HR operations or service delivery, ideally within a manufacturing or technical operations environment.Strong understanding of shift-based workforce dynamics and experience working in unionized settings.Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., SAP, Workday) and time & attendance tools.Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.Knowledge of local labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an asset.What We Offer :
