Sr Systems Engineer (Atlassian Cloud Admin)

What's the role

As a Sr Systems Engineer you will play the role of a Atlassian Cloud Administrator to help manage and optimize our Atlassian Cloud environment, with a primary focus on Jira Service Management and Assets. This role is critical to ensuring our IT service delivery processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs. In addition you will :

• Administer and configure Atlassian Cloud products, primarily Jira Service Management and Assets.
• Design, implement, and maintain custom workflows, automation rules, SLAs, and request types in JSM.
• Design and implement various automations to optimize system performance.
• Manage Asset schemas, object types, attributes, and automation within the Assets module.
• Collaborate with ITSM, DevOps, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Atlassian solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and governance across Jira and Assets.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support and training to users.
• Maintain user permissions, groups, and roles in accordance with security policies.
• Stay current with Atlassian Cloud updates and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements.
• Manage Atlassian Analytics.
• Develop and Support integrations with other tools
