Database Engineer - SQL Server

Job Description :

We are looking for three experienced Database Engineers to join our team in Ahmedabad for a major migration project. This is a work-from-home position where you will play a crucial role in migrating databases from MS SQL Server to PostgreSQL. The ideal candidates will be individual contributors with hands-on experience in database migration, object conversion, and ensuring data integrity throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities :

• Execute automated and manual migration tasks for the MS SQL Server to PostgreSQL project.
• Convert database objects, including Stored Procedures and Functions, from T-SQL to pgSQL.
• Work independently as an individual contributor, directly engaging with clients to ensure a smooth and successful migration.
• Validate the migrated data to ensure integrity, performance, and compatibility are maintained.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any migration-related issues.
